We all want to help, don’t we?
Three years ago, Learning for a Lifetime had a dinner and a Ladies Night Out.
We asked friends for help with some small donations. They said yes.
We asked Jan Harada, the ED at Palama Settlement for help. She said yes. Together we applied for a grant to the Group 70 Foundation, a local Architectural firm (they’re very fancy) to help with remodeling. Our children deserve a beautiful environment. They said yes.
Our Board of Directors hosted “Words About Me at High Tea.” Over a hundred people said yes.
The board went to the business community to ask for donations. They said yes. Members of the Hawaii Kai Rotary Club offered their support. They said yes without even hearing the whole question!
